The location, in which we offer you to stay, can be considered the Sopot city center. Our apartment is located at Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street, commonly known as “Monciak”.
It is a pedestrian zone completely excluded from traffic. It leads from the street Aleja Niepodległości to Plac Zdrojowy, and the Europe’s largest wooden pier is its natural extension. St. George’s Church, considered as the actual city center, is located on the opposite side of the promenade.
Thus you are in the center of the summer fuss with a very convenient access to all touristic attractions, and at the same time you are in a sufficient distance to quietly relax from the hustle and bustle of those tourists who like to spend their time actively.
By the then Seestrasse 23 (Morska Street), as the Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street used to be called, few hotels always had their location – one of the most popular was Hotel Kaisehoff also called the Imperial Court. It was located in a tenement house built in neo-Gothic style in 1901. After 1945 the hotel was turned into a tenement, which we decided to change back into a hotel. Even earlier, because built in 1830 – 1831, the oldest hotel/inn called Hotel de Zopot or from the name of the investor – Kresiss Hotel, functioned here. It was located on the corner of the road leading to the bay and the road to the Sierakowski Mansion (Dworek Sierakowskich).
